Save the Date Nov. 6–8 for the 2015 Alpine Gathering in Maine!

2015 Northeastern Alpine Gathering November 6-9, 2015- Hosted by Baxter State Park, Millinocket Maine

SAVE THE DATE! On November 6-8, 2015 Baxter State Park will host the 9th Northeastern Alpine Stewardship Gathering at the Twin Pines resort on the shores of Millinocket Lake in north central Maine. This facility affords fantastic views of Katahdin, cozy cabins with modern amenities and delicious meals at their highly rated restaurant on the premises. The Gathering is scheduled to begin with folks arriving Friday night to enjoy the setting and network before the evening meal, introductions and our evening speaker. Saturday will include panel and breakout sessions with a keynote speaker that evening. On Sunday, participants will have an opportunity to sign up for any of several excursions in the local region and in Baxter State Park, leaving from Twin Pines after breakfast.

Note: As this area is an extended trip for many, there will also be an opportunity for an assortment of Pre-Gathering field trips for those who would like to arrive at Twin Pines Thursday night and go out during the day on Friday November 6!

This is a great opportunity to share your successes and learn from others involved in the stewardship and protection of our mountains in the Northeast! We look forward to welcoming you to the Katahdin Region!
